Representants de la Universitat de Cauca (Popayán-Colombia) han visitat la ciutat per a copiar algunes experiències d’èxit. L’expedició va visitar l’Àgora de la mà del regidor de Promoció Econòmica i Innovació, Manolo Gomicia, per conèixer de primera mà el projecte alcoià.
