L’Ajuntament de Banyeres de Mariola ha habilitat un espai de lectura infantil al seu mercat municipal. Amb aquest, xiquets i xiquetes tenen l’oportunitat de pintar i llegir mentre els adults fan les compres a les parades.

La iniciativa pretén la promoció de la lectura, alhora que serveix d’ajuda a les persones que acudeixen al mercat a fer les compres acompanyades de menors. La Biblioteca Municipal, per la seua banda, ha fet una selecció de materials i llibres. Si el servei té un bon ús i acceptació s’actualitzarà i es dotarà de més recursos amb el temps.
