Alcoi pateix un terratrémol de magnitud 2’2

L’Institut Geogràfic Nacional ha registrat aquest matí un terratrémol amb Alcoi com a epicentre. Ha sigut a les 11:47.

La magnitud ha sigut baixa, de 2’2 en l’escala sismològica de Richter. Una explosió equivalent a la d’un tanque de gas butà.

No obstant això, com que la profunditat de l’epicentre s’ha detectat a 4 km, els seus efectes han resultat relativament imperceptibles per la població.

Al nord-est d’Alcoi s’ha produït el moviment de terres i les coordenades 38,7132 i longitud –0.4414, aproximadament entre els Algars i el poble Nou de Sant Rafel.
